How It All Started
In the summer of 2018, I rented a lawn roller to smooth out our yard. As I was loading it back onto the trailer, a neighbor driving by rolled down her window and asked if I would roll her yard as well. “Sure,” I happily replied, realizing that not only could I help a neighbor, but it would also offset the cost of renting the roller.
The following year, I rolled additional yards for family and neighbors and quickly realized how much I enjoyed it. What started as a simple yard improvement project turned into something bigger—and now, we’ve made a career out of it.
The Inspiration: Why We Started Lawn Rolling
I was inspired to start rolling our yard simply to have a nice, smooth lawn for the summer. The winter months here in Northern Indiana take quite a toll on the yard each year, leaving behind bumps and uneven spots. Lawn rolling became a way to restore and refresh the yard, making it look and feel great for the warmer months ahead
